1. What?

Fast Track is a talent initiative from MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival (MGEITF). It’s a unique event providing exclusive masterclasses and access to senior industry executives, the chance to win a commission, a free delegate pass for MGEITF and heavily subsidised training.

2. Who?

If you’re serious about your career, want to get ahead and have 2-4 years’ experience in any area of TV, then Fast Track is for you. The scheme has been the catalyst for many delegates moving up successfully in their profession. Alumni includes Andy Zein, Katy Thorogood and Matt Tombs.

3. How?

Apply now for your chance to get a place on Fast Track, or nominate someone you think is the ideal applicant. This is an opportunity that can’t afford to be missed for those that want to fast forward their career. Fast Track 2008 takes place 20 - 25 August in Edinburgh.

Previous Fast Track programmes have boasted masterclasses from Dawn Airey, Robert Thirkell, Lorraine Heggessey, Armando Iannucci and  Krishnan Guru-Murthy. Fast Track Pitch winning delegates have gained commissions from Channel 4, ITV2 and Discovery Networks and often most valuably, everyone has come away with a new and impressive supportive network of peers.
