The Festival

Visitors Information

The information on this page will help answer any practical questions you may have once in Edinburgh.

Delegate Pass

Pre-registered delegates can collect their delegate passes from the EICC from Friday at 9.00am until Sunday. Your delegate pass allows you into all the Festival sessions, parties and receptions. You do not need to purchase any further passes or individual tickets. However the Festival does operate on a first come first serve basis so it is advisable to get to popular sessions early. Please note there is a lost badge fee of £25.

Festival Office

In Edinburgh the Festival Office is based at the EICC. To contact anyone in the office whilst onsite please ask at the information desk on the ground floor.

Distances

The George Hotel and the EICC are approx 25 minute taxi journey from Edinburgh Airport and 5 minute taxi journey from Edinburgh Waverly Station. Please note that Edinburgh is very busy at this time of year and traffic can be quite heavy. The George Hotel is a 5 minute taxi journey from the EICC.

Parking

There are paid parking facilities at the conference centre. There is rarely any free parking in the city, most is meter paid. The George Hotel has free parking facilities but there are minimum spaces and they operate on a first come first serve basis.

Cloakroom/Storage

The EICC has a fully equipped cloakroom where you can safely leave your coats/larger bags and belongings.
