How much does it cost?
Apart from travel to and from Edinburgh and your personal expenses, all costs are covered by MGEITF Fast Track including accommodation and your Festival pass.
When does MGEITF Fast Track take place?
Fast Track runs alongside the Edinburgh TV Festival which is held over the August bank holiday weekend every year. Fast Track starts a few days earlier and the dates for 2008 are 20th August-25 August, and if you gain a place you must commit to all the days.
Can I apply if I don't work for a production company or broadcaster?
Absolutely - we want a diversity of applicants so please apply regardless of the field of television you work in. You can also apply if you're not currently working but have 2-4 years' experience.
Can I apply if I've applied before?
Yes, lots of people are successful a second (or third!) time around.
What type of person are you looking for?
Fast Track is looking for people across the TV industry with ideas, passion and drive. You should apply if you want to energise your career prospects, meet your peers in the industry and gain access to top TV execs. You should have 2 - 4 years' industry experience and demonstrate that you are thinking about the issues that affect broadcasting in general.
Where will we be staying?
You will be accommodated in centrally-located flats in Edinburgh, sharing with 2 or 3 other Fast Track delegates.
