Editorial Coordinator, Edinburgh International TV Festival
The UK's leading television industry event, MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival is seeking to employ an Editorial Coordinator to work closely with the Director.
We are looking for a highly organised and creative individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can administer the Festival's editorial programme, the Advisory Committee, Channel of the Year Awards and London Events. The position involves supporting the entire editorial production process: keep updated information for database, website and programme; researching speakers and subjects; securing and briefing participants and awards judges; recruiting stewards; and assisting with the overall direction of the Festival sessions.
Applicants should have between 1-2 years events, PR or production experience, ideally gained in the media. They will have a lively interest in the television and entertainment industry, good writing skills and be able to build relationships at all levels. The candidate will have strong administrative and IT skills.
