As the government continues to drive for better opportunities for people entering the creative industries - young people trying to get into the media are still facing the challenge of low pay, or often no pay; and few jobs. The Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival's talent scheme The Network has joined forces with YouGov to explore how people working in the media got in, and got on with their careers. Is it really who you know? Can talent shine through? How much social mobility is there in the media today?
